I thought she would break the rule to say happy birthday to me yesterday.

I’d check my phone every once in a while, forgetting about her for a second while replying to other people who said it. Thank goodness for them but still i wondered about her, if she remembered it was my birthday and if she cared about it at all. I didn’t get anything at the end of the day.

I guess this is just another step to moving on.
